This wonderful site includes a Chronology section detailing the story of dinosaur history from 220 million years ago to extinction; Fact Files with profiles of favorite dinosaurs and a Dinosaur Den with interactive dino fun; including E-postcards, and online games.
Level: Grades 3-6

The London Natural History Museum
Includes information on over 125 dinosaurs. Types of information include Taxonomy, Type of species, Period, Time Span, Length, Diet and Location. Individual dinosaurs are listed alphabetically, by continent and time span. Great site for students creating research reports.
Level: Grades 4-8

Jurassic Park Institute
The purpose of this multimedia site is to help students separate fact from fiction when it comes to dinosaurs. There five parts to the web site: Dinotainment with games and activities, Dinopedia with research information and a timeline, a Dino Lab with teacher resources (free, register to use) and a Dinosaur Academy which house collections. Other choices include Dino Guides with additional web resources, and Dino News which has up to date research information.
