Van Gogh & Friends Art Game
"You paint like a madman!""
- Cézanne to Van Gogh
- Cézanne to Van Gogh
From Paris dance halls to Tahiti and Provence, the passionate art of Van Gogh and the Post-Impressionists captures the giddy excitement of the Beautiful Age. Van Gogh & Friends Art Game brings the intriguing world of Post-Impressionism to children and adults with fast paced card games and a beautifully illustrated art book. As the 20th Century approached, Van Gogh & Friends painted the optimism of an opulent era defined by rapid social changes and scientific advances. Using religious symbolism, expressive subjects and innovative techniques, Seurat, Gauguin, Toulouse-Lautrec, Cézanne, Rousseau and Van Gogh created daring works of timeless permanence.
Produced by and for families, the award winning Art Game series announces its newest release: Van Gogh & Friends Art Game, a gift boxed set of 36 spectacular art cards and 90 page book that highlights fun and fascinating stories about the artists. These unique and educational Art Games are already a hit in the U.S., with extensive sales through Scholastic school fairs, consumer catalogs and major book retailers. Van Gogh & Friends will be launched internationally at museum and toy shows in Paris and Germany. Praise for the Art Game series includes:
"A treasure for the entire family."

The Art Games evolved from one family's desire to make learning about art more interesting and fun. Wenda O'Reilly, her three daughters and their friends created the Games on weekends at their kitchen table, and first published The Renaissance Art Game in October 2000. It became an instant best seller, and was immediately carried in museums worldwide, including the Louvre and Metropolitan. Their second release, The Impressionist Art Game was also a huge hit at NY Toy Fair 2002; as a result the Art Game series is now in high demand in the toy and education markets.
